Kent Rising is a feature length, observational documentary about the work of the mega-talented Josephine Buchan who has committed her life to helping young people reach their true potential. A director, mentor, and former TV presenter, Josephine has helped numerous young people find real meaning in their lives through exposure to theatre and the Arts. In Kent Rising, Josephine will take on eight students, between thirteen and eighteen years old who are currently disengaged from education. She will help them develop the confidence to trust themselves and others.

Theatre not only changes lives but can save lives. Will these children be open to experience these changes? Will their lives be changed?
